| Cons - We booked a pool access room. However, the rom we stayed in was located adjacent to the pool pump which was very noisy especially whilst trying to sleep at night. We complained to management who then moved us to another room. Unfortunately the air-conditioning in that room didn't work very well ( it wouldn't cool the room below 25 degrees). Also, we were awoken at night on a number of occasions by drunk hotel guests returning to their rooms in the early hours of the morning.
Pros - Friendly service, good food from the thai restaurant on the ground floor, nice rooms. |

| My recent stay at the Anantara was a delight - again. This was my third visit to the hotel. The rooms are wonderfully airy and appointed - large, elegant and extremely comfortable, with great views over the beach. The location, on Jln Dhyana Pura is terrific - with easy access to the best in Seminyak in terms of shopping and food - and night life. The best gay bars are literally just up the road and 'Eat Street' Seminyak is around the corner - a short distance away. The Anantara provides great dining options - with a rooftop bar that probably has the best sunset views in Bali and a pool side restaurant serving great food at breakfast and throughot the day. The service is exceptional - dealing easily and charmingly with even high maintenance guests like me. I loved my stay this time and will continue to recommend this chic hotel to my friends and family. I am looking forward to my next stay. |

| Das Hotel liegt perfekt am Strand von Seminya. Sehr persönliche Betreuung durch Staff und Management. Grosszügige Zimmer in ansprechendem Design, grösstenteils mit Meersicht. In jeder Hinsicht empfehlenswert. Wer gerne Ruhe hat und doch in angenehmer Distanz zu lebendigem Umfeld sein möchte, ist an diesem Ort ausgezeichnet aufgehoben. Im obersten Geschoss des Hotels ist eine Event-Location, die wundervolle Apéros zum Sonnenuntergang ermöglichen. Gelegentlich finden dort auch Parties statt. Wer sich durch Musik gestört fühlen könnte, sollte vielleicht nicht in der obersten Etage (3. Stock) residieren. Darunter ist wohl kaum mehr was zu hören. Insgesamt eine grossartige Mischung zwischen hochwertigem Hotelgenuss und gehobener Lebendigkeit. Wer allerdings pure Ruhe sucht, ist hier falsch. Wer's gerne gemässigt lebendig hat, dem wird's sehr gefallen. Gäste sind sehr gemischt. Viele Honey-Moon-Paare im Alter zwischen 30 und 40. Darüber hinaus auch Menschen im Alter 50+. Wenige Kinder. Für Familien wohl eher ungeeignet. |
